Research fields of Dr. Nevena Ribarac-Stepic are biochemistry, molecular biology and molecular endocrinology that comprise molecular mechanisms of hormone action. Starting by investigation of structural and functional alterations in steroid receptors induced by homologous and heterologous hormonal ligands, she has expanded research on cross-talk between insulin and steroid hormone actions under physiological and pathological states. |
