Research Projects The Institute for Recent History of Serbia /Institut za noviju istoriju Srbije/ has established extensive cooperation with Croatian Institute for History /Hrvatski institut za povijest-Zagreb/ and the Institute for Modern History /Institut za novejso zgodovino-Ljubljana/. The Institute is trying to establish similar form of cooperation with the Historical Institute from Sarajevo /Istorijski institut/ and the Institute for National History from Skopje /Institut za nacionalna istorija/. Our wide mutual activity was based on joined promotion of our publications, organization of lectures and joined participation in international scientific meetings. The lack of finances prevented more intensive international cooperation. The Institute for Recent History of Serbia has already informed the Serbian Ministry of Science about achieved level of international cooperation (through various contacts with officials of the Serbian Ministry of Science).
